MSNBC Argues GOP Should Be Labeled “Domestic Terrorist Party”

The Fake News Media has lost its marbles! A recent segment out of MSNBC’s “Deadline White House” show hosted by Nicole Wallace featured unhinged speakers on the show seemingly in agreement that those who oppose them ought to be labeled as “domestic terrorists” and consequently be treated as such.

This unhinged display began Tuesday with Contributor Donny Deutsch telling Democrats that they must castigate Republicans as racist radicals in order to pursue a winning strategy in the midterms.

“23 percent of Republican males are okay with white nationalist white supremacist views. That’s 1 in 4 of all Republican males,” Deutsch said at the beginning of the segment.

“What the Democrats need to do… is take this replacement theory and now make it the Republican racist replacement theory. Make every Republican answer, ‘do you believe in it or not?’ This is the party of the replacement theory,” Deutsch told “Deadline” host Nicolle Wallace.

Dr. Erroll G. Southers proved to be an even more extreme guest of Wallace’s show, suggesting that concerns of “replacement theory” amongst conservatives put them at a similar level to those who orchestrated the 9/11 terrorist attacks. He consequently recommended that those in the GOP be treated as domestic terrorists.

Southers has quite the academic pedigree. He is highly respected by the university system, holding a degree from Brown University and currently serving as a professor specializing in “counterterrorism” and “homegrown violent extremism” at the University of Southern California’s Sol Price School of Public Policy.

“My guidance is that we have to treat it as the terrorist threat that it is. We rallied on 9/11. There was no question about what the country is going to do,” Southers told Wallace during the unhinged rant. “We are facing the same threat… We should label them the domestic terrorist party.”

MSNBC’s extremist segment attracted the attention of American journalist Glenn Greenwald, who chided MSNBC for the segment before stating “that’s what happens when ex-Bush officials host the ‘liberal’ network.” Greenwald also said that “MSNBC is now explicitly and favorably invoking 9/11 and the War on Terror to argue the entire GOP should be designated a “domestic terrorist party.'”

The well-known journalist continued the barrage of insults, posting that he is not surprised that a political faction that reveres Liz Cheney, David Frum, and Rick Wilson is seeking to apply a “War on Terror” framework to their political opponents. He also pointed out the absurdity of some of the segment’s lies, particularly Southers’ completely false claim that 78% of all murders in the United States are committed by “white supremacists.”

“How do you put a professor on a news show, hear him trumpet how vital “data” is for understanding the world, and then have him say that from “2010-2019, white supremacists were responsible for 78% of the murders in America” and not burst out in laughter or at least correct him?” Greenwald asked incredulously.
