MSNBC Guest Rants And Raves Over Conservative Media Popularity, Dubs It ‘Problem For Democracy’

According to President Barack Obama’s former senior advisor and MSNBC guest Dan Pfeiffer, Ben Shapiro’s Facebook posts, along with other prominent conservative voices like Dan Bongino and Candace Owens are a “problem for democracy.”

During an interview with MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski on Monday, Pfeiffer ranted and raved about the dangers “misinformation from conservatives” poses on social media platforms. Then he urged Big Tech to tweak its algorithms.

Pfeiffer explained, “if you go to Facebook on a daily basis, the posts with the most engagement are from Ben Shapiro, Dan Bongino, and Candace Owens. It is right-wing media content. It dwarfs progressive content. It dwarfs mainstream media content — which is actually, should be the part that should scare us the most, that Ben Shapiro’s Daily Wire has more followers and engagement — many times more — than the New York Times or CNN. That is a problem for democracy.”

Amazingly, Pfeiffer spent his air time praising conservative media for its reach and popularity. Even though he didn’t realize what he was actually doing.

Pfeiffer then went on to call conservative social media platforms the “tobacco companies of the day.”

“So are you saying, that like, the Republican agenda is backed up by the freaks on Facebook and so they don’t want to do anything about it?” Brzezinski interjected.

“Absolutely,” Pfeiffer claimed. “To be very clear is that Facebook is the most powerful messaging platform for the extreme MAGA message. That benefits the Republicans.”

“They like to cry about Facebook and Big Tech, and then they just laugh their way to the bank when Facebook just pushes their message, including the Big Lie,” Pfeiffer added.

Again, this whole exchange speaks volumes about the impact conservative media is having on the culture. Giving kudos to The Daily Wire for the work they are doing despite obvious disapproval from the mainstream establishment.

According to Pfeiffer, “right-wing media is much more powerful” than when he worked for Obama. So Big Tech needs to “rethink how they deal with people who lie for a living,” when dealing with voices like Ben Shapiro – WATCH:

Of course, hosts of The Daily Wire had a field day with this entire exchange, as it perfectly illustrates the left’s derangement when it comes to opposing viewpoints online.

This is exactly why Joe Biden’s “Ministry of Truth” was pushed so hard, and why corporate press outlets like MSNBC are so keen on silencing voices on the opposite side of the political aisle for any content they deem to be “misinformation.”

Everything Pfeiffer said pulls back the curtain and says the quiet part out loud for how these people think. And how they want to weaponize Big Tech to silence those who disagree with them politically on platforms like Facebook and Twitter.

Pay attention – they are not even hiding the plot anymore.
