MUST SEE VIDEO: Idaho Protesters Rally at the Home of Police Officer Who Arrested Woman for Taking Kids to Playground
A group of protesters showed up at a law enforcement officer’s home on Tuesday evening shortly after a woman was hauled off in handcuffs and arrested for taking her children to a playground.
Two uniformed law enforcement officials can be seen outside of the home and interacting with protesters who are outraged with the lockdown tyranny that has arisen as a result of the coronavirus panic. The home belongs to one of the officers responsible for carrying out the brazenly tyrannical order.
“They need to know this is not okay,” one concerned citizen told police.
“We the people are not okay with this at all,” another woman stated definitively.
A man who appeared to take the lead at the protest made sure that everyone there remained peaceful and respected the property rights of the police officer.
“We are here to show our solidarity with Sarah Brady who was arrested today, a completely innocent woman, for being in the park playing with her children,” the concerned citizen said.
Renowned freedom protester Ammon Bundy showed up as well to inform the police that the line is being drawn in the sand.
“The people will not allow you guys to do this long, for very long. You will not go into parks and arrest people. You will not go into parks and arrest mothers, or you will not go anywhere and arrest us for exercising what our rights are. You do not have that right. You have limitations,” Bundy explained.
“We will not sit by idle while you guys arrest people in parks or in churches or in their places of work. We will not allow that to happen. It just cannot happen,” he declared.
The video of the protest can be seen here.
Big League Politics reported on how the mother was dragged off in handcuffs in a scene that looked like it was something out of Soviet Russia rather than the land of the free:
A shocking video has been posted on social media of a mother being hauled off in handcuffs from a playground at Julius M. Kleiner Memorial Park in Meridian, Idaho.
It was posted on Facebook by activist Erin Whitt Timmerman and demonstrated how law enforcement officials will readily comply with unconstitutional orders.
She wrote in the description for the video: “Local police officer arresting a Mom for being at our peaceful protest at. The. Kleiner Park. Playground. In the first 10-20 seconds of my video you can also see an officer stiff arm a mom holding a 2 mo old baby What is this world coming too (sic)…?”
The crowd can be heard booing and yelling things like, “Paying taxes at the playground,” “This makes no sense,” “Taxpayer money,” and other slogans. According to the local news, the woman identified as 40-year-old Sarah Brady received a trespassing charge for unauthorized entry of the playground. Protests are reportedly being held at the Meridian City Hall on Brady’s behalf.
The Meridian Police Department (MPD) stands behind their decision to enforce tyranny because a sign and caution tape were placed around the playground.
“These are very trying times and the Meridian Police Department supports the public’s right to assemble for peaceful protest, however the right does not include damaging public property or ignoring closures of City property and facilities,” MPD said.
Playgrounds and outdoor equipment have been banned in the city of Meridian since March 23 at the behest of Mayor Lauren McLean. Snitches made the call to local police when they saw children playing on the equipment, which resulted in Brady being hauled off in handcuffs.
If Brady is convicted of the charges, she faces up to six months in county jail for the misdemeanor crime and a possible $1,000 fine.
Unless protests and showings of civil disobedience continue to pick up steam, it is not likely that Americans will get their basic rights back following the coronavirus pandemic.
