NATO Secretary General Wants to Prolong Conflict Between Russia and Ukraine
On November 21, 2022, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced before the NATO Parliamentary Assembly that the military alliance wants to reach a peace settlement that would be acceptable for Ukraine. To achieve this scenario, continued flows of military aid must be sent to Ukraine.
Grigory Karasin, chairman of the international committee of Russia’s Federation Council (the upper chamber of the Russian parliament) said the following about Stoltenberg’s latest statement in a Telegram post:
“NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg’s latest statements only prove his paranoid obsession to drag Russia ever deeper into the conflict. And he interprets it as a justification for expanded supplies of military equipment and weapons to Kiev.”
“So, who is to be called a war party now? I think the answer is obvious,” he continued.
Karasin is correct in noting that NATO is no innocent party in this conflict. Through its constant supply of economic and military aid, along with its provision of intelligence, NATO has clearly demonstrated that it’s a co-belligerent to this conflict.
As NATO’s most powerful country, the United States, especially its Deep State functionaries, are clearly attempting to foment and prolong conflict in Ukraine. At first, the Russo-Ukrainian conflict looked like a conventional proxy war where the US and its Collective West allies loaned moral and basic military support to Ukraine. However, with constant media propaganda against Russia and more direct forms of government aid to Ukraine, this conflict has reached a gray zone where the Collective West is now a clear co-belligerent.
Wiser heads must prevail in the US, lest it wants NATO member countries and itself to become legitimate military targets for Russia. This would be a disaster of epic proportions. A restrained foreign policy is the only way to avoid this nuclear doomsday scenario.
