New Report Reveals that Cartels are Raking in $13 Billion Annually from Smuggling Migrants into the United States

According to a New York Times report published on July 25, 2022, cartels are making billions annually smuggling migrants across the southern border.
This report revealed that cartels are earning roughly $13 billion from this illegal activity.
One America News Network noted that human smuggling revenue surged from roughly $500 million in 2018 to the recent $13 billion. This is a sign that cartels have been dialing up their human smuggling ventures in the last few years.
OANN observed that “The billions in earnings from those activities exclude revenue from drug smuggling.”
Per congressional testimony from the Acting Director of US Immigrations and Customs Enforcement in 2021, cartels have found a profitable venture in human smuggling and they are using teams “specializing in logistics, transportation, surveillance, stash houses and accounting” to maximize their profits.
At the America First Agenda Summit on July 26, Oklahoma Senator James Lankford sounded off about the revenues that cartels are generating at the regional level
The Oklahoma Senator claimed that in South Texas cartels are bringing in $150 million weekly via human trafficking. On top of that, Lankford argued that the Biden regime is not paying sufficient attention to this issue.
Indeed, America’s open border policies leave the country susceptible to criminal actors who want to set up shop in the US and destabilize it through. A serious ruling class would be focusing the majority of its attention on securing the country’s southern border.
Sadly, most of DC is dedicated to protecting the borders of foreign countries such as Ukraine. America First nationalists will have to step up to the plate and desperately fill this void.
