New York City Mayor Eric Adam’s Blasts the Biden Regime’s Immigration Policies as the Big Apple Gets Overwhelmed By Migrant Influx

New York City Mayor Eric Adams believes that the recent wave of border crossers and illegal aliens that President Joe Biden’s regime has enabled is “unfair” to American taxpayers.

Since spring 2022, roughly 140,000 border crossers and illegal aliens have reached New York City. The Big Apple is a sanctuary city where local law enforcement refuses to cooperate with federal immigration authorities to arrest illegal aliens and send them over for deportation.

The majority of the recent arrivals to NYC have been let loose into the American interior by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

In response to this alarming wave of illegal immigration, Adams previously announced that New York City services will be slashed by  5% across-the-board to cope with the rising cost of providing care and housing to border crossers and illegal alien invaders. By the end of 2024, these costs are projected to reach $12 billion.

At a town hall in Coney Island, Brooklyn, Adams described immigration as “unfair” to “everyday taxpayers.”

“I want to pass a budget that adds cops, I want to pass a budget that allows us to have more after-school programs, senior care, and infrastructure building, that’s the budget I want. And so when people look at what’s happening in this city, we all are angry,” Adams declared.

“And I tell people all the time when they stop me on the subway system, ‘Don’t yell at me, yell at DC, yell at DC.’ We deserve better as a city,” he added.

On November 21, 2023 Adams announced additional budget cuts, calling on city leaders to find $2.1 billion that they can cut. That said, he will not cut any money from police, fire, and sanitation services.

Per Adams, New York City has a whopping $7.1 billion budget shortfall because of illegal immigration over the last two years.

There’s definitely trouble in Democrat land. Democrats are realizing that their open borders agenda is receiving major pushback even from their constituencies.

As a result, they will be compelled to start purging oar least put deviant politicians in their place.

For pro-open borders Democrats, dissent — whether from within or without — must be silenced at all costs.
