New York Senator Chuck Schumer Privately Called On Joe Biden To Step Down From 2024 Presidential Election

According to several Democratic sources in the know, President Joe Biden’s support from elected party leaders is imploding.

One individual who has been defending Biden in public since his debate debacle declared on July 17, 2024, “Biden is going to see the whole house of cards come down soon.”

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer paid a visit to Biden in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, on July 13. Right after the meeting, Schumer’s office issued a statement, stating only, “I sat with President Biden this afternoon in Delaware; we had a good meeting.”

This meeting didn’t draw much media attention as it was overshadowed by the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump that day.

A reliable source close to both public officials informed ABC News that he had a blunt conversation with Biden, arguing that it would be best if Biden bow out of the 2024 presidential race.

When questioned about this, Schumer’s spokesperson refused to provide specific comments about the meeting, stating only that “Leader Schumer conveyed the views of his caucus.”

Subsequently, the leader’s spokesperson continued: “Unless ABC’s source is Chuck Schumer or President Joe Biden the reporting is idle speculation. Leader Schumer conveyed the views of his caucus directly to President Biden on Saturday.”

A source who is on top of this situation informed ABC News that House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries has expressed similar views directly to Biden, hinting that he should bow out of the race.

When asked about that, a spokesperson for Jeffries said to ABC News, “The letter sent by Leader Hakeem Jeffries to his House Democratic colleagues speaks for itself. It was a private conversation that will remain private.”

The letter was dated on July 12. Jeffries said to House Democrats, “In my conversation with President Biden, I directly expressed the full breadth of insight, heartfelt perspectives and conclusions about the path forward that the Caucus has shared in our recent time together.”

In the letter, Jeffries did not mention whether he called on Biden to drop out of the race or to stay in.

“The President told both leaders he is the nominee of the party, he plans to win, and looks forward to working with both of them to pass his 100 days agenda to help working families,” declared White House spokesperson Andrew Bates.

Biden maintains strong support from several influential and powerful figures in the Democratic Party, which includes the Congressional Black Caucus and progressive leaders such as Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders and New York Congressman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

It appears that Biden is here to stay in the race. However, many party insiders want him out as it has become clear that he has become a rotting corpse that can barely utter coherent thoughts, much less give the US a credible image on the world stage.

One thing is certain: the Democratic Convention from August 19 to August 22 will be filled with all manner of political machinations and backroom dealing. It will be entertaining to say the least.
