NYC To Pay ‘2020 Summer Of Love’ BLM-Antifa Rioters $13M While Jan 6 Defendants Treated As Political Prisoners

Democrat officials are paying “2020 Summer of Love” protesters and rioters BACK for their antics, looting, and property damage following the death of George Floyd in Minnesota.

They are not going through George Soros in a round-about way anymore, but instead, paying off their terrorist arm directly.

In New York City, officials agreed to pay $13 million to violent BLM-Antifa protesters.

New York City has agreed to pay more than $13 million to settle a class action lawsuit that accuses the city’s police department of using unlawful tactics against protesters following the death of George Floyd, according to a proposed settlement filed in a Manhattan federal court Wednesday.

Roughly 1,380 protesters who were arrested by the New York City Police Department at 18 demonstrations in May and June of 2020 in Manhattan and Brooklyn will be eligible to receive $9,950 each in compensation if the settlement is approved by a judge, according to the lawsuit. It marks the largest amount ever paid in a class-action settlement to a group of protesters, according to the plaintiff’s attorneys.

The demonstrations in New York were among many that erupted in the wake of George Floyd’s death in police custody in Minneapolis. Tens of thousands of people marched in cities and small towns across America as well as around the world.

So while Trump supporters are being treated as political prisoners for their “insurrection” on January 6th, BLM-Antifa protesters are being paid as if they were the ones wronged.

Not the 450 businesses that were damaged in New York City.

Instead, this payout should be going the other way.

“Protesters who were arrested on charges of violence including trespassing, property destruction, assaulting an officer, or arson or weapons possession will not be eligible for a payout,” The Daily Wire reported about the BLM-Antifa protesters’ $13 million payout.

“And those who blocked police from arresting other people may also not be eligible,” the outlet continued.

Following the “2020 Summer of Love” riots that were – as we’re told – “mostly peaceful,” about 10,000 people were arrested across the country. 

The property damage from the protests across the US totaled a near whopping $2 billion. 

Officers were injured, and dozens of police cars were damaged over the months.

Still, NYC thinks these people are owed some form of financial pay back.
