Pennsylvania Republican Candidate Has His Home Vandalized With a Hammer and Sickle Image

Last weekend, Republican congressional candidate Sean Parnell had his house vandalized by radical leftist agitators.

The leftist vandals sprayed graffiti on the veteran’s garage and driveway which read “ELECTIONS NO, REVOLUTION YES!”

Parnell tweeted, “My house was vandalized last night by cowards under the cover of darkness. This is what is at stake in this election. We all must fight for our country and we must do it NOW. I will not cower. I will not back down. I will always fight for this nation. #VOTE.

He added in another tweet “Amazing to me how many people in this thread are falsely accusing me of faking this when a Democrat Congressman reported the exact same thing happening to him last night at his office just a few miles from here. It’s ridiculous & shameful.

In a statement that he released on November 1, 2020, Parnell denounced “socialism, violence, and destruction” and urged Americans to air their grievances with candidates at the ballot box. “No matter who we support and oppose, we do it with our vote, and not through destruction of property and violence to our fellow Americans,” the Republican stated.

Parnell is a decorated combat veteran, who served in Afghanistan and reached the rank of Captain in the U.S. Army. He is currently running against Congressman Conor Lamb in Pennsylvania’s 17th Congressional District. Unlike many boosters of the military-industrial complex, Parnell understands that their are limits to nation-building efforts abroad. On his campaign website, Parnell promises to “Ensure our military is the strongest fighting force in the world and is used to defend Americans from our enemies, NOT to police every corner of the earth.”

It is truly sad that candidates with such positive messages are on the receiving end of some of the pettiest forms of vandalism. This goes to show how polarized American political interactions have become and why the country needs to restore order.
