Pfizer Dumps Money Into Texas Elected Officials’ Campaigns

Pfizer has been dropping big money into Texas politicians’ campaigns in recent months.
Since the conclusion of the legislative session, Pfizer has made contributions to 31 state-level elected officials.
Daniel Greer of Texas Scorecard reported that members of the Texas House Public Health Committee and the Senate’s Health and Human Services Committee were among the recipients of Pfizer’s donations.
State Representative Stephanie Klick, the chair of the House Public Health Committee, received a Pfizer donation, in addition to State Representative Dustin Burrows. In his capacity as Chairman of the Calendars Committee, Burrows received criticism during the session for capsizing legislation critical for the vaccine freedom movement in Texas.
The criticism of Pfizer’s political contributions has prompted Dr. Mary Talley Bowden to announce the roll out of a political action committee that will endorse and bankroll candidates dedicated to getting rid of Wuhan virus shots on the market.
The PAC has subsequently endorsed candidates such as Jared Woodfill, who is challenging State Representative Lacey Hull — a recipient of a $1,000 donation from Pfizer.
On top of that, Pfizer has made contributions to several Texas politicians who backed the impeachment of Attorney General Ken Paxton in 2023. Back in November 2023, Paxton announced he was filing a lawsuit against Pfizer for misrepresenting the COVID-19 vaccine’s efficacy and for “conspiring to censure public discourse.”
Pfizer is a nasty rent-seeking corporation that seeks to advance the biomedical security state’s agenda at a profit. Ultimately, its economic power must be reduced so as to prevent its noxious influence from proliferating. In the meantime, grassroots activists need to unseat politicians who receive significant funds from Pfizer.
That will send a clear message to these glorified drug peddlers that their political machinations will not be tolerated by the American populace.
