POLL: 54% of Voters Believe Not Enough is Being Done To Stop Election Cheating

According to a Rasmussen poll, 52% of likely United States voters believe cheating is likely to have an impact on the outcome of the 2024 presidential election, which includes 27% who believe it’s very likely. 

37% said election cheating is unlikely to have an impact on the outcome of the 2024 presidential election, which includes 16% who believe it is not at all likely. 

An additional 11% are unsure. 

54% of voters don’t believe government officials have done enough to stop cheating in elections. 32% who believe enough has been done to address this issue. An additional 14% are unsure if political leaders have done enough to stop cheating.

46% of voters believe mail-in voting makes it easier to commit fraud in elections. 13% believe voting by mail makes it more difficult to cheat, whereas 36% believe mail-in-voting doesn’t have much of a difference with respect to election cheating.   

When asked if it was more important to make it easier for everybody to vote, or  ensure there is no cheating in elections, 61% indicated it is more important to halt cheating, whereas 34% believe making it easier to vote is important. 

When it comes to partisanship, 54% of Democrat voters believe that making it easier for people to vote is more important. On the other hand, 79% of Republican voters indicated that it is more important to ensure there is no cheating taking place in elections. Among independent voters, 66% believe it’s more important to prevent cheating in elections and 27% believe it’s more important to make it easier to vote.

64% of Republican voters, 28% of Democrat voters, and 47% of independent voters said that mail-in voting makes it easier to cheat in elections.

74% Republican voters, 32% of Democrat voters, or 50% of independent voters believe it is at least somewhat likely that cheating will have an impact on  the outcome of the 2024 presidential election.

78% of Republican voters believe government officials have not done enough to stop cheating in elections. Just 32% of Democrat voters and 54% of independent voters shared this view.

When it comes to race, 50% of white voters, 52% of black voters, and 57% of non-black minorities stated that cheating is at least somewhat likely to affect the outcome of the 2024 presidential election. 

As for income categories, voters making between $30,000 and $50,000 annually are most likely to believe mail-in voting makes it easier to commit acts of voter fraud. On the other hand, individuals making over $200,000 annually are most likely to indicate that government officials have done enough to stop election cheating in general  elections. 

There’s a clear degree of distrust in the current political system. With how corrupt the US political system has become, people have every reason to believe that Us elections are rigged and tainted by corruption.

If US elections can’t be secured, any talk about it being democratic country is a pure farce. From there, it will turn into another oligarchical tyranny on the world stage.
