Poll: 57 Percent of Republicans See Jan. 6 as ‘Act of Patriotism’

Republicans See Jan 6 as Patriotism-

A new poll shows that 57 percent of Republicans see the historic election fraud protest on Jan. 6, 2021 at the U.S. Capitol, called an insurrection by left-wing Democrats and their RINO enablers, as an “act of patriotism.”

The poll, conducted by the left-wing outfit The New Republic, shows that a firm majority of Republicans are refusing to buy the lies and the propaganda regarding Jan. 6.

“Thinking about the people who forced their way into the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, would you say that was more of an insurrection against the United States or more of an act of patriotism?” poll respondents were asked in the survey. In response, 43 percent of Republicans said “insurrection” while 57 percent said “act of patriotism.”

“I don’t know whether we should take a lot of comfort in knowing there are still 43 percent of Republicans who think that was wrong or despair that it’s only 43 percent,” whined liberal pollster Guy Molyneux of Hart Research Associates in response to the results.

Recently, President Donald Trump said he regretted not marching with his most fervent supporters on Jan. 6 to the U.S. Capitol, as Big League Politics reported:

President Donald Trump said that he regrets not marching with supporters to the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2020 like he originally planned to do.

Trump said this during an interview with the Washington Post where he also blamed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) for allegedly ordering Capitol Police to stand down while the violent display was staged.

“I thought it was a shame, and I kept asking why isn’t she doing something about it? Why isn’t Nancy Pelosi doing something about it? And the mayor of D.C. also. The mayor of D.C. and Nancy Pelosi are in charge,” Trump said.

“I hated seeing it. I hated seeing it. And I said, ‘It’s got to be taken care of,’ and I assumed they were taking care of it,” he added.

Trump ultimately blamed Secret Service for not allowing him to live up to his word and march with his supporters to the U.S. Capitol on that fateful day.

“Secret Service said I couldn’t go. I would have gone there in a minute,” he said.”

Democrats and RINO cowards are working overtime pushing hysterics about what happened on Jan. 6, but it was really a mostly-peaceful protest with most of the violence that day being led by individuals on the federal payroll. The Founding Fathers would have seen a rally like Jan. 6 as tame compared to the types of acts they committed to depose the illegitimate ruling elites of their day.
