POLL: 67% of North Carolina Voters Favor Reducing Immigration
According to a poll conducted by Rasmussen Reports and NumbersUSA, 67% of North Carolina likely voters believe the federal government should slash new immigration to the state. 21% of North Carolina voters favor keeping new immigration at the current rate. Only 5% want to raise the annual immigration rates.
There is a strong bipartisan consensus among North Carolina voters that immigration must be restricted. 82% of Democrat voters, 50% of Republican voters, and 66% of North Carolina independent voters believe the federal government should reduce immigration.
In a similar vein, 75% of North Carolina voters indicated that Congress should require that all employers use the federal electronic E-Verify system to help guarantee that they hire only legal workers for American jobs. Just 12% of voters are in disagreement, and an additional 12% are unsure.
47% of North Carolina voters believe local and state governments should make it tougher for people to move to North Carolina from other states and other countries by restricting housing development.
North Carolina voters, like many other voters nationwide, are against mass migration and its many noxious socio-economic effects such as depressed wages, higher rents, and higher crime. These people need to keep organized pressure on their elected officials so that immigration can become a reality.
Inaction is not an option when it comes to bringing about political change.
