POLL: Are the Corporate Media Trying to Rig the Election for Harris

According to a Rasmussen poll, 60% of likely voters believe most reporters try to help out the political candidate they want to win when discussing political campaigns. 28% of voters disagreed and indicated that most reporters attempt to provide unbiased accounts of current events instead. An additional 12% are unsure. 

57% of voters believe Harris has received the most favorable coverage from the media thus far, whereas 29% believe the corporate media have given Trump better coverage. 

13% of voters are undecided. As the 2024 presidential election rapidly approaches, 50% of voters expect the majority of reporters to try to assist Harris, whereas 14% stated most will attempt to help Trump instead. 26% of voters predict that most reporters will provide unbiased coverage and 10% are unsure.

Whereas 44% of Democrat voters believe the majority of reporters attempt to offer unbiased campaign coverage, that view is shared by only 16% of Republican voters and 3% of independent voters. 74% of Republican voters, 45% of Democrat voters, and 64% of independent voters believe most reporters attempt to assist the candidate they want to come out on top.

As far as partisan affiliations go, 65% of Republican voters, 53% of Democrat voters, and 54% of independent voters believe that Harris has received more favorable treatment from the corporate media.  In a similar vein, 66% of Republican voters, 34% of Democrats voters, and 50% of independent voters expect most reporters to try to assist Harris. 38% of Democrat voters said that most reporters will provide unbiased coverage instead, just 14% of Republican voters and 26% of independent voters are in agreement.

With respect to the races, 62% of white voters, 57% of black voters, 51% of Hispanic voters, and 70% of other non-black minorities believe most reporters attempt to help the candidate they want to come out victorious. 61% of white voters, 48% of black voters, 57% of Hispanic voters, and 41% of other non-black minorities believe Harris has received the most favorable treatment from the corporate media.

When it comes to income categories, voters making between $30,000 and $50,000 yearly are most likely to indicate most reporters attempt to help the candidate they want to win, and also to believe the corporate media has been treating Harris with kid gloves. 

Truth be told, the corporate media is the enemy of the people. It’s one of the main institutions that’s responsible for brainwashing millions of Americans. For that reason, a rational right-wing regime would do everything possible to shut down this moribund institution.
