POLL: Close to 50% of Voters Want to Impeach Merrick Garland

According to a recently published Rasmussen poll, 48% of likely United States voters believe Congress should carry out an impeachment investigation of Garland. 35% of likely voters are against impeaching the attorney general, and 18% are unsure.
During a hearing in the end of the September, Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee blamed Garland and Justice Department officials of tampering with the investigation of Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings due to how they knew the “scandal would lead right to President Biden.” 58% of voters agree with that accusation, which includes 43% who strongly agree with this view. 34% of voters disagree, which includes 26% who strongly disagree.
62% of voters are of the belief it is likely that the Justice Department provided Hunter Biden with favorable treatment owing to his political connections, which includes 47% who believe it is very likely. 33% don’t believe it’s likely Hunter Biden received favorable treatment, which includes 17% who said it is not at all likely.
84% of Republican voters, 45% of Democrat voters, and 58% of independent voters believe it is at least somewhat likely that Hunter Biden received favorable treatment due to his political links.
79% of Republican voters at least somewhat agree with the GOP accusation that Garland and DOJ officials tampered with the investigation of Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealing due to how they knew the “scandal would lead right to President Biden.” That said, this opinion is also shared by 44% of Democrat voters and 52% of independent voters.
69% of Republican voters, 32% of Democrat voters, and 44% of independent voters believe Congress should initiate an impeachment investigation of Garland. 50% of Democrat voters, 17% of Republican voters, and 36% of independent voters are against impeaching Garland.
53% of white voters and 67% of black voters and non-black minorities at least somewhat agree that Garland and Justice Department officials tampered with the Hunter Biden investigation due to how they were aware the “scandal would lead right to President Biden.”
Garland is a bonafide tyrant. Not only is he providing cover to Joe Biden’s corrupt family, he is also presiding over an activist ATF that is striving to destroy the Second Amendment in as many ways as possible.
For these reasons and countless others, Garland should be impeached. It’s the least we can do with respect to a public official who wields such power.
