POLL: Gen Z Demands More Student Loan Benefits

In a recent Bloomberg News/Morning Consult poll, President Joe Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan has not made much of an impact with young voters in swing states, specifically those of the Generation Z cohort.

Gen Z refers to individuals born in 1997 or later. These voters believe Biden is not doing enough to tackle the issue of student loan payments, despite wiping out $127 billion in such debt in an effort to woo this constituency.

Biden “is making no gains among groups he is going to need to pull off a victory next year,” declared Eli Yokley, US politics analyst at Morning Consult. Trump is beating Biden in 7 key swing states — Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

Overall, Biden has the advantage over Trump with Generation Z voters at 44% to 38%. However, the battleground state poll demonstrates how Biden’s student loan program has failed to make inroads with young voters in these states.

Young voters still believe that Biden has done too little with respect to student loan reforms. By contrast, a plurality of Generation X and baby boomer voters believe that the Biden regime has already done too much with respect to student loan reforms.

Democrats in swing states are growing dissatisfied with Biden, with 23% of those who pulled the lever for Biden in 2020 indicating that they currently have an unfavorable view of him. By contrast, 17% of 2020 Trump voters have grown dissatisfied with the former President.

Among swing-state Generation Z voters, roughly a third indicated that they trust neither Biden nor Trump to deal with the economy.

Overall,it’s clear that Trump is gaining momentum in the polls. The Biden regime’s bungled immigration policy, its foreign policy mishaps, rising crime, and out-of-control inflation have put the country on the path of total disarray. Biden clearly needs to be relieved of the burden of holding higher office.

Hopefully, Trump can not only win but also implement his America First agenda. To accomplish that, Trump must free himself of the neocon influence that derailed his first term in office.
