POLL: Majority American Voters Support Israel Destroying Hamas

After the Hamas terrorist organization launched a vicious attack on Israel, 53% of likely United States voters believe that the Palestinians are mostly to blame for the conflict with Israel, per a Rasmussen poll.

Just 10% of voters believe Israel is mostly to blame for this conflict, whereas 24% stated both sides are about equally at fault for the conflict. An additional 13% are unsure.

On October xxx, 2023, Florida Senator Marco Rubio, declared: “Israel has no choice but to seek the complete eradication of Hamas in Gaza.” 66% of voters agree with the neoconservative senator’s statement, which includes 41% who strongly agree. Only 19% disagree with Rubio’s assertion, while another 15% are unsure.

17% of voters believe that the US is too supportive of Israel. 33% of voters currently believe the US is not supportive enough of Israel. Whereas 38% indicated that the US’s support for Israel is at the right level. An additional 12% are unsure.

66% of Republican voters, 40% of Democrat voters, and 54% of independent voters believe the Palestinians are mostly culpable for the conflict in Israel. 14% of Democrat voters, 7% of Republican voters, and 9% of independent voters indicated that Israel is mostly to blame for the conflict in the Jewish state.

46% of Republican voters, 23% of Democrat voters, and 31% of independent voters said that the US government is not supportive enough of Israel.

74% of Republican voters, 62% of Democrat voters, and 61% of independent voters at least somewhat agree with Rubio’s quote that “Israel has no choice but to seek the complete eradication of Hamas in Gaza.”

56% of white voters, 41% of black voters, and 50% of non-black minorities indicated that the Palestinians are mostly to blame for the war in Israel.

While the Hamas attack was horrific, the US is not obligated to help out Israel in this case. Let’s face it, the Palestinians and Israelis will be fighting each other until the end of time. Their fight is existential in nature, as both sides see the modern-day territory of Israel as their own.

With the US facing a collapsing border with Mexico, the last thing that it needs to do is to get involved in another Middle Eastern conflict.
