POLL: Majority of Democrats Favor Taking Trump Off Ballot

A recent Rasmussen poll showed that Democrat voters overwhelmingly support efforts to take former President Donald Trump off election ballots.

Rasmussen found that 44% of likely United States voters approve of state officials erasing Trump’s name from the ballot, which includes 33% who strongly approve. That said, 53% of voters disapprove of taking Trump off the ballot, which includes 44% who strongly disapprove. 

66% of Democrat voters approve of attempts to keep Trump off the ballot, which includes 50% who strongly approve. 73% of Republican voters disapprove of removing Trump’s name from the ballot. Among independent voters, 41% of voters are in favor of state official’s efforts to take Trump’s name off the ballot, whereas 56% of voters disapprove of such measures. 

Officials in several red states, which includes Missouri, have threatened to respond by taking President Joe Biden’s name from election ballots in their respective states. 29% of likely voters approve of state officials taking  Biden’s name from the ballot, which includes 20% of voters who strongly approve. That said, 66% of voters disapprove, which includes 50% of voters who strongly disapprove of state officials taking Biden’s name off the ballot.

Although 44% of Republican voters  approve of states retaliating by taking Biden’s name off the ballot, 49% of GOP voters are against such retaliation, in addition to 77% of Democrat voters and 69% of independent voters.

44% of likely voters believe it’s likely that states prohibiting presidential candidates from election ballots could cause another civil war in the US, which includes 18% who view it as very likely. 46% of voters don’t believe another civil war could be caused by states prohibiting presidential candidates from the ballot, which includes 18% of voters who view it as unlikely. 

51% of Republican voters. 44% of Democrats voters, or 40% independent voters believe it’s at least somewhat likely that states prohibiting presidential candidates from election ballots could cause another civil war.

45% of white voters, 47% of black voters, and 34% of other non-black minorities at least somewhat approve of state officials taking Trump’s name off the ballot. 41% of white voters, 45% of black voters, and 56% of other non-black minorities think it’s at least somewhat likely that states prohibiting presidential candidates from election ballots could lead to another civil war in the US.

As far as income is concerned, voters making below $50,000 annually are most likely to strongly disapprove of state officials taking Trump’s name off the ballot. 

This effort to remove Trump from the 2024 presidential ballot is Banana Republic republic tier behavior. It’s a telltale sign of the dysfunctional nature of our political epoch.

Should the ruling class pull off this naked form of despotism, the US will accelerate into tyrannical chaos that would make the Founding generation roll over in its grave.
