POLL: Majority of Voters Are Worried About the United States’ Military Readiness

A recent poll carried out by Rasmussen determined that 53% of likely United States voters believe that Biden is a weaker president for the military.

Just 24% currently believe Biden is a stronger president than most recent presidents.  20% indicated that Biden is roughly the same as most recent presidents as a military leader.

The US military is notoriously facing a major recruitment crisis. 76% of voters are worried that recruiting problems could impact the readiness of the US military, which includes 43% who are very concerned. Only 22% aren’t worried that military readiness could be negatively affected by recruiting problems.

15% of voters polled are current or former members of the US military, and 87% of voters with military experience are worried that recruiting problems could impact military preparedness.

55% of Republican voters, 30% of Democrat voters, and 44% of independent voters believe that military preparedness could be impacted by recruiting problems.

45% of Democrat voters believe Biden is a stronger commander in chief than most recent presidents, while just 9% of Republican voters and 17% of independent voters share that view. 80% of Republican voters and 59% of independent voters view Biden as a weaker commander in chief, in addition to 21% of Democrat voters.

As far as race is concerned, 77% of white voters, 61% of black voters, and 79% of non-black minority voters are at least somewhat worried that military preparedness could be impacted by recruiting issues. 57% of white voters, 29% of black voters, and 54% of non-black minorities view Biden as a weaker commander in chief.

US institutions are experiencing wholesale declines in their service qualities. The military in particular should have everyone concerned. For one, without a competent military, the US will be incapable of fending off the veritable illegal alien invasion taking place at the southern border with Mexico, much less projecting power abroad.

The combination of over-extension abroad with the military’s embrace of wokism has deteriorated the US’s military capacity. Sadly, there’s no reason to believe that the ruling class grasps this problem, as it continues to go down the woke path.
