POLL: Majority of Voters Believe a “Major Crisis” is Brewing In the Middle East

According to a Rasmussen poll, 71% of likely United States voters believe the current situation in the Middle East has transformed into a massive crisis.

Only 21% of likely voters view the Middle East situation as a minor crisis, and only 5% indicated that it’s not a crisis at all.

Robert C. O’Brien, who previously served as National Security Advisor under former President Trump, recently said: “Just three short years ago we had peace in the Middle East … and now everything in the world is aflame. It’s because President Biden moved away from a peace through strength posture that President Trump had, into an appeasement posture.” 56% of voters are in agreement with O’Brien’s quote, which includes 40% who are in strongly agreement. 38% of voters disagree with O’Brien’s statement, which includes 30% who strongly disagree.

35% of voters gave Biden a good or excellent rating for the way he handled national security issues  By contrast, 49% of voters gave Biden a poor rating on national security issues. 62% of Democrat voters gave Biden a good or excellent rating for the way he handled national security. On the other hand, 14% of Republican voters and 27% of independent voters shared this view. 72% of Republican voters and 57% of independent voters gave Biden a poor rating on national security issues, in addition to 16% of Democrat voters.

75% of Republican voters, 65% of Democrat voters, and 73% of independent voters perceive the current situation in the Middle East as a major crisis.

82% of Republican voters, 31% of Democrat voters, and 59% of independent voters at least somewhat in agreement O’Brien’s statement laying the blame at the feet of the Biden regime for putting the country“into an appeasement posture.”

As far as race goes, 73% of white voters, 68% of black voters, and 66% of non-black minorities view the current situation in the Middle East as a major crisis. 52% of white voters gave Biden a poor rating on national security issues, in addition to 43% of black voters and 42% of non-black minorities.

When it comes to salary earners, those making over $200,000 annually are the most likely to give Biden a good or excellent rating on national security and are the least likely to view the current situation in the Middle East as a major crisis.

Breaking down the electorate by income categories, voters in the highest bracket – earning more than $200,000 a year – are most likely to rate Biden good or excellent on national security, and least likely to view the current situation in the Middle East as a major crisis.

If we’re being honest here, there is a crisis in the Middle East. However, the Biden regime and the broader national security state is at fault for causing this geopolitical tumult. This is owing to the US government’s unflinching support for economic and military aid to Israel.

For stability to come to the Middle East, the US needs to stop aid to Israel and withdraw from the region altogether.
