POLL: Majority of Voters Want a Presidential Candidate Who is Against Mass Migration
A new Harvard/Harris Poll found that six-in-ten U.S. voters are more likely to back 2020 presidential candidates who promise to have strong border security measures “to reduce illegal immigrants.”
According to this report, only four-in-ten voters answered that they are more likely to pull the lever for presidential candidates who promise to open “our borders to many more immigrants.”
John Binder of Breitbart News notes that these views are in line with all of the 2020 Democratic presidential candidates’ mass migration platforms.
Candidates like Vice President Joe Biden, Senator Elizabeth Warren, and Senator Bernie Sanders champion mass migration policies that boost illegal immigration, create a massive pool of cheap labor for big business, and build a new voting segment that will vote solidly Democratic.
Annually, America admits 1.2 million legal immigrants. 70 percent of these immigrants come through the process of “chain migration.” Under chain migration, recently naturalized citizens can bring as many foreign nationals to the country as they please.
Such trends have been set in place since the Immigration Act of 1965, which has skewed immigration in favor of Third World, low-skilled labor.
These mass migration trends can be reversed by immigration reforms like stepping up border security, abolishing chain migration, putting an end to birthright citizenship, and restricting pathways to citizenship to only the most skilled and productive immigrants.
GOP voters are adamant about making these reforms, as evidenced by their prioritization of immigration for the 2020 elections.
