According to a recently published Rasmussen poll, 37% of likely United States voters believe President Joe Biden is doing a good or excellent job in dealing with the Russo-Ukrainian war. By contrast, 45% of voters gave Biden’s regime a poor rating for the way it has handled the war.
In terms of protecting Ukraine from Russia, 48% of likely United States voters believe that Trump would do a better job. By contrast, 39% believe Harris would do a better job. Just 7% believe Harris and Trump would do about the same in terms of policy with respect to the Russo-Ukrainian War.

Among independent voters, 53% believe Trump would do a better job and 35% signaled Harris would do a better job in terms of protecting Ukraine from Russia.
63% of Democrat voters believe Biden has been doing a good or excellent job handling the Russo-Ukrainian war, but only 19% of Republican voters and 26% of independent voters hold that same view. 67% of Republican voters and 52% of unaffiliated voters give Biden a poor rating on the Russia-Ukraine war, in addition to 17% of Democrat voters.
With respect to race, 51% of white voters, 32% of black voters, and 51% of Hispanic voters and 51% of other non-black minorities believe Trump would do a better job defending Ukraine against Russia. 37% of white voters, 50% of black voters, 38% of Hispanic voters, and 34% of other non-black minorities believe Harris would do a better job on this issue.
As far as income earners are concerned, those making over $200,000 annually are most likely to indicate that Harris would do a better job defending Ukraine against Russia. By contrast, those making between $30,000 and $50,000 annually are most likely to believe Trump would do a better job in this regard.
If we’re being honest, Trump isn’t much to write home about with regards to the Ukrainian conflict. After all, it was his administration that pulled out of the Open Skies Treaty and INF Treaty, while also supplying lethal military aid to Ukraine and attacking Russian military contractors in Syria.
If Trump doesn’t bring principled non-interventionists into the mix, we can only expect further disappointment. This is just another reminder that until an America First takeover of the GOP occurs, it will continue to serve as the right-wing of the pro-war uniparty.
