POLL: Most Voters Believe States Aren’t Doing Enough To Prevent Illegal Aliens From Voting In Elections

According to a Rasmussen poll published on August 28, 2024, 32% of likely United States voters indicated that election officials in their respective states have done nothing to keep illegal aliens from voting or haven’t bothered to mention it, whereas 20% indicated that officials have announced several steps but they are not sufficient. 18% stated that  election officials have announced steps that appear to be effective in tackling the threat of illegal alien invaders voting, and 8% stated that officials have put forward a detailed plan and it appears to be effective in addressing voter and integrity concerns. 21% are unsure.

The Capital Research Center recently found that concerns regarding election integrity have propelled 28 states to prohibit or limit private financing of government election offices. That said, only 11% of voters believe election officials in their state have taken the appropriate measures to bar outside funded election advisory organizations from interfering with public employees presiding over state election systems. 14% noted that their state officials are taking modest steps toward stopping outside interference, and 17% indicated officials in their respective state have taken some steps but have not done enough. 23% of voters indicated that election officials have not at all addressed election interference by outside organizations. 35% are unsure.

40% of Republican voters, 23% of Democrat voters, and 34% of independent voters indicated that election officials in their state have done nothing to prevent voting by illegal immigrants or haven’t mentioned it.

27% of Republican voters, 19% of Democrat voters, and 24% of independent voters said officials in their state have not addressed election interference by outside organizations in any shape or form.

As far as race is concerned, 34% of white voters, 27% of black voters, 25% of Hispanic voters, and 39% of other non-black minorities indicated that officials in their state either have done nothing to bar illegal aliens from voting or haven’t mentioned it.

As far as income categories are concerned, voters making between $100,000 and $200,000 annually are most likely to signal that officials in their state have not even bothered to mention it.

Election integrity is one of the key political issues of our epoch. It’s further exacerbated by the influx of migrants from across the globe, which the Left wants to tap into as a new electoral constituency. If we want to protect our elections from fraud and even flat out corruption by having illegal aliens voting, stringent election integrity measures have to be passed in all red states.
