POLL: Only 24% Of Voters Believe Congress is Passing Good Legislation
According to a Rasmussen poll, 24% of likely United States voters believe Congress has passed any legislation that will greatly improve life in America. By contrast, 54% indicated Congress hasn’t passed any good legislation. An additional 22% are unsure.
49% of voters believe passing good legislation is more important for Congress than preventing bad legislation from becoming law. 41% disagree and see stopping bad laws as a more important priority.
40% of Democrat voters believe Congress has passed legislation that will greatly improve life in America, but that belief is held by only 14% of Republican voters and 17% of independent voters.
62% of Democrat voters, 41% of Republicans voters, and 45% of independent voters believe it is more important for Congress to pass good legislation. 49% of Republican voters say preventing bad legislation from passing is a more important role for Congress, a belief that 33% of Democrat voters and 43% of independent voters hold.
55% of white voters, 40% of black voters and 56% of non-black minorities don’t believe Congress has passed any legislation that will significantly improve people’s living standards in America. Whites are the racial group most likely to indicate it is a more important role for Congress to pass good legislation.
47% of conservative voters believe stopping bad legislation is more important for Congress than passing good legislation. By contrast, 42% of conservative voters believe passing good legislation should be more of a priority for conservative voters.
As far as income categories are concerned, individuals making over $200,000 annually are the most likely to believe that Congress has passed legislation that will significantly improve people’s lives.
Overall, Congress is a den of corruption. It’s controlled by people from a corrupt uniparty who serve a narrow set of special interest groups. They’re completely out of touch with reality and work to destroy the Historic American Nation. For that reason, they must be relieved of the burden of holding higher office.
