POLL: Plurality of Working Class Americans Believe Illegal Immigration Has Worsened Local School Systems
A plurality of working class Americans believe illegal immigration is making local school systems worse.
John Binder of Breitbart News noted that a recent Rasmussen poll found that 40% of Americans making under $30,000 believe illegal immigration has made local schools worse. Additionally, 41% of individuals earning $30,000 to $50,000 said the same.
Among working class, middle class, and upper-middle class Americans, below 10% indicated that illegal immigration has made their local schools better, whereas 34% to 45% said illegal immigration has no impact on schools.
37% of all Americans believe illegal immigration is worsening their local schools, while only 9% indicated their schools are better off with Unaccompanied Alien Children (UACs) and other migrant children arriving with illegal alien parents en masse.
Below 40% of all Americans said illegal immigration has not significantly impacted local schools.
According to some estimates, illegal immigration has cost public school systems roughly $8 billion on an annual basis.
Illegal immigration, and legal immigration as well, are a blight on all fronts — culture, economics, politics, etc. It’s not only going to strain the country’s public resources but also hurt the country’s demographic integrity and put it on the path to national disappearance. This problem has to be addressed — through immigration restriction — or the US will cease to exist as a coherent nation.
