Poll: Trump Bump Could Sink Sherrod Brown In Ohio

The nonpartisan Gravis poll of Ohio came out over the weekend and it contained more than one shocker.
Incumbent Democrat Sherrod Brown, a forty-year fixture in Ohio politics, was losing head to head to Republican Ohio Treasurer and Iraq War Veteran Josh Mandel (45-42). Brown is up for re-election in 2018.
Interestingly, long-time Kasich ally Congressman Pat Tiberi (R-Genoa) was also polled against Sherrod Brown and he trailed; 43-41.

Supporting President Trump is of a four-point benefit in Ohio. In a swing state like Ohio, four points is often the difference between victory and defeat.
The same poll has President Trump’s approval rating at 49% to Governor Kasich’s 42%.
More evidence that Republicans do best when they stand with the President.
