POLL: Voters Believe Politics is Behind Classified Leaks
According to a recent Rasmussen poll, politics is motivating the media’s release of leaked classified information.
The poll found that 54% of likely United States voters believe most media outlets that released classified information are doing so for political reasons. 37% believe the media published classified leaks due to how it believes in the public’s right to know about the inner workings of the government.
Just 34% of voters currently believe that when media outlets publish classified information they are providing a public service, whereas 46% indicated that the media are harming national security by disseminating classified leaks. 20% are unsure.
Such views come in the wake of the arrest of Massachusetts Air National Guard member Jack Teixeira for his leaking of classified documents that exposed US officials having doubts about Ukraine’s ability to mount a successful counter-offensive against Russia.
Such leaks clearly paint the US national security establishment in a negative light. The fact of the matter is that the US Deep State needs to be exposed at all costs. Its machinations pose a major threat to the US and its viability as a functional polity.
The more the regime’s dirty laundry gets aired out, the quicker we will see a desire among the public for America First policies to be implemented.
