President Trump Planning “Save America” Rally in Florence, Arizona on Jan. 15th

Former President Donald Trump is planning a “Save America” rally in the rural community of Florence, Arizona on January 15th, shoring up his political presence in the competitive state likely to feature close elections in the 2022 midterms as well as the next presidential election.
News of the rally was announced on Thursday.
The event will be held at the Country Thunder Festival Grounds in Florence. Tickets are available here. Doors will open around 2PM, with the President slated to begin his remarks around 5PM.
The possibility of a comeback presidential campaign on the part of Trump is a likely possibility, with Trump himself stating that only a “bad call from a doctor” could dissuade him from running for the US presidential throne in a potential rematch with Democrat Joe Biden.
Some Republicans and conservatives have taken to criticizing Trump in recent weeks, disappointed in his unwillingness to repeat internet talking points regarding the coronavirus vaccine. President Trump defended the efficacy of the medicine, developed under the watch of his administration, in an interview with social media personality Candace Owens last week. Attendance at the President’s Florence rally could gauge his enduring popularity with conservatives, with most polls indicating that Trump maintains strong support and even an outright majority from likely 2024 Republican primary voters.
President Trump has hosted a fundraiser for Arizona populist Senate candidate Blake Masters, signalling his willingness to wade into the state’s midterms in support of those who back his Make America Great Again agenda.
