President Trump Taps Into Tulsi Gabbard for Debate Prep Against Kamala Harris

President Donald Trump is tapping into former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard as he begins his debate prep against his opponent for the 2024 presidential election, Vice President Kamala Harris.
Gabbard famously destroyed Harris during the presidential debate in 2019, ruining Harris as a front runner and derailing her presidential hopes. President Trump is hoping to learn about Harris’ weaknesses from Gabbard as the polls tighten.
Karoline Leavitt, a spokeswoman for President Trump, told the New York Times that Trump has “proven to be one of the best debaters in political history as evidenced by his knockout blow to Joe Biden. He does not need traditional debate prep but will continue to meet with respected policy advisers and effective communicators like Tulsi Gabbard, who successfully dominated Kamala Harris on the debate stage in 2020.”
The New York Times even admitted that Gabbard brings qualities that can help President Trump succeed in his upcoming debates against Harris.
“She’s a woman, at a moment when Mr. Trump is for a second time facing a woman as his general election rival; she’s a former House member, giving her policy experience; and, perhaps most importantly for Mr. Trump, she has been on a debate stage with Ms. Harris and delivered a stinging attack against her record as a prosecutor,” the New York Times states.
Big League Politics reported on when Gabbard sliced and diced Harris on the national stage back in 2019.
“She put over 1,500 people in jail for marijuana violations and then laughed about it when she was asked if she ever smoked marijuana,” Gabbard said.
“I think that it’s unfortunate that we have someone on this stage that is attempting to be the Democratic nominee for President of the United States, who during the Obama administration spent four years full time on Fox News criticizing President Obama,” Harris said in response to Gabbard.
“What Senator Harris is doing is unfortunately continuing to traffic in lies and smears and innuendos because she cannot challenge the substance of the argument that I’m making,” Gabbard responded.
Gabbard added that Harris’ vitriol toward her “only makes me guess that she will as president continue the status quo, continue the Bush-Clinton-Trump foreign policy of regime change wars, which is deeply destructive.”
Trump’s pick of Gabbard to lead debate prep shows that he playing smart and playing to win. Harris should be shaking in her boots because the media will not be able to protect her for long.
