The 17-year-old climate alarmist responded to the President’s friendly suggestion by changing her Twitter description. It reads: “A teenager working on her anger management problem. Currently chilling and watching a good old fashioned movie with a friend.”

Big League Politics reported yesterday on how Thunberg won the award over the Hong Kong freedom protesters who have put their lives on the line against totalitarian Chinese tyranny:

TIME produced a glowing profile of Thunberg for her award. Thunberg has been astroturfed due to Soros connections into a worldwide phenomenon to produce fear over global warming in order to gin up support for globalism and carbon taxes.

The article noted that Thunberg “has addressed heads of state at the U.N., met with the Pope, sparred with the President of the United States and inspired 4 million people to join the global climate strike on September 20, 2019, in what was the largest climate demonstration in human history.”

TIME also credits Thunberg for “creating a global attitudinal shift, transforming millions of vague, middle-of-the-night anxieties into a worldwide movement calling for urgent change.” They claim that she “became the most compelling voice on the most important issue facing the planet” as well as “the icon of a generation” for “summoning the courage to speak truth to power.”

Thunberg won the award despite the fact that participants in an online poll overwhelmingly chose the Hong Kong freedom protesters to be named “Person of the Year.” The Hong Kong freedom protesters are putting their safety at risk in fighting back against totalitarian China while Thunberg travels lavishly and hobnobs with world leaders.

This is not the first time that President Trump has trolled Thunberg for her bleak outlook and negative attitude. Thunberg gave a hysterical address before the United Nations in September where she whined to the globalist bureaucrats about why being allowed to skip school to protest has ruined her life.

“This is all wrong. I shouldn’t be up here. I should be back in school on the other side of the ocean, yet you all come to us young people for hope. How dare you?” she said to the UN delegation.

“You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words,” she added.

President Trump commented after her speech in a Twitter post, making a facetious comment poking fun at Thunberg’s dismal outlook:

Thunberg will continue to receive her push from the elite media, globalist bureaucrats, and anti-capitalist academics, until she is no longer useful and replaced with a different prop for the world government agenda.

But a close look at the American Christian church’s plans relating to its name reveal that it’s played with the idea far more seriously than they’re making it seem.

Reports of a name change first emerged in a Washington Post article published on Tuesday. SBC President JD Greear told the Post that “hundreds of churches” affiliated with the denomination had “committed” to using the phrase “Great Commission Baptist” as an alternative to the denomination’s longtime moniker. The change would come as Greear touts his support of the Black Lives Matter, although he’s been careful in pointing out he doesn’t support any formal organization related to the movement. Greear also is renaming the church he personally pastors with the term.

The SBC’s 2021 convention will also organize under the motto of “We Are Great Commission Baptists.” Sounds a lot like a name change, even if the SBC’s leadership is steadfastly maintaining it isn’t.

The name ‘Great Commission Baptist’ is theologically sound in the Christian religion, but it’s somewhat questionable that the organization’s leader appears to be emphasizing it at a moment in which political correctness is making its entryism into many Christian churches and organizations.

It seems as if the organization’s figurehead is keen to present himself as a liberal-style suburban Evangelical to the Washington Post, but he changed his tune quite quickly when the rank and file membership of Southern Baptist churches learned that he was promoting the idea of a name change.
