Pro-Gun Organization Condemns Biden Regime’s Gun Confiscation Executive Order

On September 26, 2024, the  National Association for Gun Rights criticized an executive order put forward by the Biden regime, which NAGR claims bankrolls the confiscation of firearms without due process.

“Biden and Harris are further cementing their gun control legacy today by creating 135 million reasons for states to find more people to confiscate guns from,” declared Dudley Brown, President of the National Association for Gun Rights. “$135 million more dollars, stolen from taxpayers, to fund more unconstitutional gun grabs using the cover of “Red Flag” laws.

The September 26 executive order features multiple new gun control provisions, which includes the allocation of $135 million dollars towards “formula awards” for 48 states to finance so-called “Red Flag” gun confiscation programs.

“Democrat rulers love to trumpet in the media that they aren’t coming for your guns, while simultaneously pushing semi-auto bans and so-called “Red Flag” gun confiscation without due process,” added Brown.
Further, the recent announcement by the Biden regime also revealed a proposal to arbitrarily cap the semi-automatic rate of fire on firearms. NAGR observed that this cap is a total violation of federal statute. The courts have thrown out similar gun control measures on multiple occasions.

Most recently, a federal Court in Texas ruled in National Association for Gun Rights v Garland that the Biden regime cannot broaden the federal machine gun ban to include firearms equipped with Forced Reset Triggers and must return illegally confiscated firearms to certain individuals.

Other Supreme Court rulings such the Cargill and Chevron cases have determined that similar attempts to bypass Congress, looking to prohibit classes of firearms illegally, overstepped their constitutional authority.

“In short, Biden and Harris broke the law today”, declared Brown.

The Biden regime knows that a gridlocked Congress is incapable of passing gun control measures via legislative means. So it has to turn to full-fledged executive tyranny to impose these gun grabs. Thankfully, there are pro-gun organizations such as NAGR who are willing to stand up to all forms of gun control — be they coming from federal elected officials, bureaucrats, state elected officials, and/or local officials.

This relentless defense is needed to preserve our sacred rights.
