Project Veritas: Assistant Principle Brags About Indoctrinating Students And Refusing to Hire Catholics

Has leftism become its own form of a radical religion? A video leaked by Project Veritas Tuesday showed the Assistant Principle of Cos Cob Elementary School in Connecticut proudly talking about his refusal to hire any teacher who is Catholic and how he has his hired schoolteachers sneak leftist thinking into their instruction.

“You’re teaching them how to think. That’s it. It doesn’t matter what they think about. If they think about it in a logical, progressive way, that becomes their habit,” said Boland in a video recorded by an undercover journalist with Project Veritas.”So, you kind of like, gear them to think in a more liberal way?” the Project Veritas journalist asked in response.

“Mhm,” answered Boland. “Believe it or not, the open-minded, more progressive teachers are actually more savvy about delivering a Democratic message without really ever having to mention their politics.”

“It’s subtly. They’ll never say, ‘oh, this is a liberal or a Democratic way of doing this.’ They’ll just make that the norm. And this is how we handle things, it’s subtle,” he continued.”And that’s how you get away with it?” asked the journalist.

“That’s how you get away with it,” Boland affirmatively replied.

Project Veritas’ undercover journalist then questioned Boland on how he can engage in such politicized teaching without any complaints from parents.

“They can find out, so long as you never mention the politics of it,” he replied.

“And then later down the line they’re gonna vote Democrat and you will have done a great service to our country,” the journalist added.”I hope,” answered Boland with a nod.Another part of the video showed Boland admitting on camera that his school actively practices hiring discrimination, specifically making a point to avoid teachers who are older, conservative-leaning, or Catholic.

Such practices may invite legal ramifications. Connecticut Law section 46A-60B1, writes that it is not legal for employers “to refuse to hire or employ or to bar or to discharge from employment any individual or to discriminate against such individual in compensation or in terms, conditions or privileges of employment because of the individual’s race, color, religious creed, age, sex, gender identity or expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, present or past history of mental disability, intellectual disability, learning disability, physical disability, including, but not limited to, blindness or status as a veteran.”

“If people knew that you, like, didn’t hire conservatives though, do you think they would be pissed?” asked the journalist.”I’m not allowed to ask their political leanings and they’re not allowed to ask me. So it just comes down to the questions,” Boland replied.

He then explained that a common interview question involves asking the prospective hire how they would react to a ‘non-binary’ student. Boland then said that a conservative would make a statement akin to, “Well, I don’t think kids have enough knowledge to make that decision [gender identity] for themself.”

“You’re out, you’re done,” Boland said after snapping his fingers. According to his own statements, only a right-winger would be capable of suggesting that a child may not have the ability or level of maturity needed to declare they are no longer a male or female.

Boland discussed his animous towards Catholics as well, saying, “If someone is raised hardcore Catholic, it’s like, they’re brainwashed — you can never change their mindset.”

The undercover journalist asked what is done once it is found out a candidate is a Catholic.

“You don’t hire them,” answered Boland.
