Rep. Thomas Massie Shakes Off COVID-19 Despite Never Receiving the Vaccine

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) announced his diagnosis with COVID-19 on Thursday, which was certainly welcomed news for the leftist enemies of the liberty-minded Congressman.
However, Massie’s case is extremely mild, and he is only quarantining as a mere precaution. He is also more than happy with his decision to refuse the COVID-19 vaccine.
“I have tested positive for SARS-CoV2. (Home test, confirmed by lab PCR.) I had cold/allergy symptoms for 1 day, and seem to be over it. I can’t guarantee, but I suspect my symptoms have been very mild due to prior infection 2 years ago. Also, perhaps this was omicron?” Massie wrote in a tweet.
“This is NOT a recommendation, only a disclosure: The only medication I took was loratadine (generic form of Claritin), due to the symptoms I was experiencing. Seek doctors advice if you find yourself sick, because every case is unique and some cases are very serious,” he continued.
“I will not be voting, meeting in person, or making public appearances until next week. I am not vaccinated or boosted. If trolls or media have other questions about my health status, the answer is most likely, ‘NUNYA,’” Massie added.

“This past Tuesday Kentucky House Representative Thomas Massie (R-KY) criticized the House mask mandate instilled by Nancy Pelosi, claiming the rule has absolutely nothing to do with science.
“We’ve had enough.” Massie posted on Twitter. “We are refusing to wear our masks on the floor during this vote in spite of Pelosi’s threat to take $500 from each of us.”
“Her rule is not based on science. All you need to know is the mask rule has only ever applied to members when they can be seen on TV!,” he added.
While the numbers of resistance among Republicans are small, Massie was not entirely alone in this endeavor. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA-14) joined the resistance for normalcy as well, posting a video of herself shredding a warning letter from Nancy Pelosi that threatened penalties for not masking.
… Around seven more House Republicans apparently went maskless on the House floor Tuesday. “I can’t hear you with your mask on,” Massie quipped at an unspecified Democratic Rep. who confronted the group.
Following a sudden change in guidance issued Thursday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the White House — that says fully vaccinated people need not wear masks when indoors — a group of over thirty House Republicans, led by Republican Ohio Rep. Bob Gibbs, sent a letter to Pelosi urging the immediate repeal of any House related COVID rules.
“Speaker Pelosi, In accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance released on May 13, 2021 we urge you to immediately return to normal voting procedures and end mandatory mask requirements in the House of Representatives,” the Thursday letter read.
“The United States Congress must serve as a model to show the country we can resume normal life through vaccination. Let’s follow the science and get back to work,” Gibbs’ letter concluded.”
The leaders who were skeptical of the Draconian and hysteria-driven COVID response have been vindicated, and Massie developing the sniffles does not change that fact.
