Report: China Put Thousands of U.S. Federal Workers on Their Payroll, Gaining Access to Sensitive Data

This severely jeopardizes national security.

A report from the Daily Caller News Foundation describes a federal investigation revealing Chinese subversion within the U.S. that has resulted in thousands of moles within the government leaking sensitive information to the communist superpower.

This has come as result of China’s Thousand Talents Plan, a scheme designed to buy off foreign workers in their rival countries. Through this illicit program, they likely put thousands of U.S. federal workers on their payroll and received data about crucial programs.

Certain lawmakers in Washington D.C. are aware of the scheme, and ordered an investigation into the matter.

“China wins twice. First, the American taxpayer funds China’s research and development. Second, China uses that research to improve its economic and military status,” Sen. Rob Portman (R-OH) said.

Sen. Tom Carper (D-DE) said that “there are serious consequences that come from giving a foreign government so much control over the vital research we rely on to drive our country’s economic competitiveness and bolster our national defense.”

The Senate investigation has produced a report showing exactly how terrifyingly effective the Chinese plan has been. It indicated that there are 35,000 foreign researchers – including 10,000 Chinese – doing research at the National Labs on behalf of the Department of Energy (DOE).

During the investigation, the counterintelligence office found one individual who departed to China with 30,000 files after working as a postgraduate fellow with the DOE. The DOE is hardly the only federal bureaucracy that has been infiltrated by the dastardly Chinese.

National Institutes of Health (NIH) gave access to sensitive genomic data to companies intimately linked to the Chinese government. An investigation showed that the NIH showed no concern for “national security risks, such as weaponizing for biological warfare,” and they did not take into account “whether the [principal investigator] is in a foreign country that is on a United States Government watch list.” Their vetting only included “reviewing the first page of results from a Google search,” the report stated.

The State Department has also been derelict in taking into account the Chinese threat. The report determined that State “denied less than five percent of the visa applications it determined warranted additional scrutiny due to concerns that the applicant might violate export control laws.” The Department of Commerce “issued at least 20 licenses to Chinese nationals associated with various Chinese talent recruitment plans,” and rejected applications from foreign nationals only 1.1 percent of the time.

Meanwhile, the FBI dissolved its “National Security Higher Education Advisory Board (‘NSHEAB’) designed to facilitate security cooperation with the U.S. higher education community” in 2018 despite Director Christopher Wray admitting to Congress that he was aware China was using “nontraditional collectors, especially in the academic setting, whether it’s professors, scientists, students” and were successfully exploiting “naiveté on the part of the academic sector.”

The federal administrative state has failed America, and countless bureaucrats have sold their souls to the communist Chinese. President Trump must succeed in his mandate to drain the swamp, or else this mixture of treachery and incompetence from the deep state will completely destroy the land of the free.

President Trump is ‘Terminating’ Relationship with Disgraced W.H.O., Punishing China for Hong Kong Takeover

Trump is striking back against the globalists.

President Donald Trump announced today that he will be “terminating” the relationship between the disgraced World Health Organization (WHO) and the U.S. as well as cutting off special trade advantages given to Hong Kong after China seized control of the formerly semi-autonomous city.

“We have detailed the reforms that it must make and engaged with them directly, but they have refused to act,” the president said from the White House. “Because they have failed to make the requested and greatly needed reforms, we will be today terminating the relationship.”

Trump claims that he will be “redirecting” the funds that previously went to the WHO toward “other worldwide and deserving urgent global public health needs.” He also said China “ignored” their obligations to the WHO when they spread disinformation to them about the nature of the coronavirus.

The WHO taking China at their word resulted in this embarrassing tweet that serves as an eternal reminder of the extreme incompetence of the globalist body:

Trump is also putting the squeeze on Hong Kong following China’s announcement that they will be taking additional power over the city that has rebelled against the red menace throughout the past year.

“I am directing my administration to begin the process of eliminating policy exemptions that give Hong Kong different and special treatment,” Trump said at the same press conference.

“My announcement today will affect the full range of agreements that we have with Hong Kong, from our extradition treaty, to our export controls and technologies,” Trump added. “We will take action to revoke Hong Kong’s preferential treatment as a separate customs and travel territory from the rest of China.”

“No reasonable person can assert today that Hong Kong maintains a high degree of autonomy from China, given facts on the ground,” Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in a statement after delivering a report to Congress indicating that Hong Kong has been usurped by China.

The president also said he will instruct his “presidential working group on financial markets to study the different practices of Chinese companies listed on the U.S. financial markets, with a goal of protecting American investors.”

“Investment firms should not be subjecting their clients to the hidden and undue risks associated with financing Chinese companies that do not play by the same rules,” Trump said, adding that “Americans are entitled to fairness and transparency.”

President Trump is getting tough on China and the WHO now that the coronavirus pandemic has subsided a bit. He has not let the crisis distract him from his agenda of ending globalism and putting America first.
