According to a Tuesday report, a former Fox News host is considering challenging vulnerable RINO Sen. Lindsay Graham (R-SC) in 2020.
“Former Fox News host Eric Bolling is reportedly mulling a challenge to uber-liberal U.S. senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, multiple sources familiar with his thinking tell this news outlet,” according to the report.
The report first appeared on Fitsnews, a South Carolina political blog run by Will Folks. Folks was the original spokesman for Rep. Mark Sanford (R-SC) when Sanford was the Governor of the Palmetto State from 2003 to 2011.
“If Bolling decides to challenge Graham, he is likely to have plenty of company. Greenville, S.C. businessman John Warren – who nearly knocked off “Republican” governor Henry McMaster of South Carolina in this year’s GOP gubernatorial runoff – is also said to be keenly interested in running against Graham, who is seeking his fourth six-year term in 2020,” the report said.
Bolling is a personal friend of President Donald J. Trump has been a faithful supporter since the beginning of the campaign. He predicted that Trump will win reelection in 2020 at a Sunday rally at Patriots Point in Mt. Pleasant, SC, sponsored by the group Red Hats for Trump.
“He’s going to win in 2020. I don’t know what will happen to the Republican Party when he leaves office,” Bolling reportedly said.
Bolling has also endorsed pro-Trump candidate Katie Arrington, running in South Carolina’s 1st Congressional District.
The former minor league baseball player and successful commodities trader recently moved to South Carolina. He currently hosts a show on CRTV which bolsters such conservative figures as Mark Levin and Michelle Malkin, and is quickly becoming an alternative to Fox News which has taken a non-committal, centrist view on the Trump presidency in order to keep its pro-amnesty advertisers at the Chamber of Commerce.
“All I want to do is shed a light on the Swamp and expose the truth,” Bolling said at the event.
Presidential Debate Commission Considers Major Rule Changes, Which May Include Muting Trump’s Microphone
They are desperate to protect Joe Biden.
President Donald Trump smacked down former vice president Joe Biden so brutally in last night’s presidential debate that the commission is considering changing the rules to give Biden a leg up in future debates.
The Commission on Presidential Debates made the announcement on Wednesday that they are going to be changing the rules of the game to hurt President Trump, which may even include the ability to mute Trump’s microphone.
They issued a statement saying that the debate “made clear that additional structure should be added to the format of the remaining debates to ensure a more orderly discussion of the issues.”
President Trump, who was frequently double-teamed by Biden and biased globalist moderator Chris Wallace, was forced to fight two men during the debate, but this wasn’t enough to give Biden the advantage. This is why they are considering changing the rules in the middle of the game.
Of course, the Commission on Presidential Debates praised Wallace for attacking Trump and propping up Biden throughout the debate.
“The CPD will be carefully considering the changes that it will adopt and will announce those measures shortly,” the organization said. “The Commission is grateful to Chris Wallace for the professionalism and skill he brought to last night’s debate and intends to ensure that additional tools to maintain order are in place for the remaining debates.”
They have assured CBS News that “we are going to be making changes” before the next debate. This is clearly designed to hurt Trump and bias the proceedings even further against the president.
Tim Murtaugh, communications director for the Trump campaign, is calling out the commission for their partisan and reprehensible behavior.
“They’re only doing this because their guy got pummeled last night,” he said in a statement. “President Trump was the dominant force and now Joe Biden is trying to work the refs. They shouldn’t be moving the goalposts and changing the rules in the middle of the game.”
Kate Bedingfield, deputy campaign manager for Biden’s campaign, is counting on the rules being changed to help Biden.
“He’ll be focused on answering questions from the voters there, under whatever set of rules the Commission develops to try to contain Donald Trump’s behavior,” Bedingfield said in a statement. “The president will have to choose between responding to voters about questions for which he has offered no answers in this campaign — or repeating last night’s unhinged meltdown.”
Big League Politics reported on how Wallace constantly interrupted President Trump and served as a surrogate for Biden while he was supposed to be the non-biased moderator:
The Donald Trump campaign has indicated that ‘neutral’ moderator Chris Wallace interrupted President Trump a whopping 76 times during Tuesday’s debate. Wallace, who is known for harboring liberal sympathies, was widely criticized by conservatives for his partiality in moderating the contest…
It appears that Biden actually spent more time talking during the debate than Trump did, despite Wallace consistently maintaining that Trump was breaking the rules.
Wallace continually invoked the rules that allot two minutes for each answer to each candidate, but declined to interrupt Biden when he violated them. He flouted neutrality most during the ‘open discussion’ segments, waiting for a moment when Biden appeared flustered or challenged by the President to change the subject.
Wallace conveniently changed the subject when Trump pressed Biden to identify any law enforcement union that endorsed him…
Wallace also provided the same convenient handicap when Biden described the terrorist group ANTIFA as an ‘idea.’…
Biden assailed Trump with a hail of personally charged insults, calling him a ‘clown,’ a ‘racist,’ a ‘fool,’ and a ‘puppy.’ Wallace did not object to any of the character attacks utilized by Biden…
At this point, if Biden refuses to a contest with a moderator unaffiliated with a mainstream corporate media outlet, just do the debates without a moderator. Have the two candidates speak in an open-ended fashion without the use of a convenient handicap to cut off any content that might prove harmful to the Democrat’s electoral prospects.
The electoral integrity for November’s vote is already severely jeopardized. President Trump might want to consider suspending the elections in order to protect the Republic from the anti-democratic coup that is in progress.
