Report: House Republicans are Expected to Remove Liz Cheney From Leadership Roles by Next Week
Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) is expected to be removed from her leadership positions in U.S. Congress after joining the Democrats repeatedly to bash former president Donald Trump and his Republican constituents.
Cheney has continued to bash Trump incessantly, even after she was rebuked with a brutal censure resolution by the Wyoming Republican Party. Now, even weak and cowardly House Republicans have apparently had enough with Cheney’s insolence.
“We can’t embrace the notion the election is stolen. It’s a poison in the bloodstream of our democracy,” Cheney said during a recent conference in Sea Island, Georgia hosted by globalist Washington D.C. think-tank, the American Enterprise Institute.
“We can’t whitewash what happened on January 6 or perpetuate Trump’s big lie. It is a threat to democracy. What he did on January 6 is a line that cannot be crossed,” she added.
Cheney also issued a tweet echoing Democrat talking points and denying the reality of electoral fraud:
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is very pleased with Cheney for betraying her constituents, her party, her nation, and her sacred honor.
Big League Politics has reported on the groundswell of House Republicans who have been pushing for Cheney’s ouster for months now:
“A majority of House Republicans have signed onto a letter expressing no confidence in GOP conference chair Liz Cheney, following the neoconservative Wyoming member of Congress’ vote to impeach President Donald Trump.
115 Republicans have signed onto a ‘no confidence’ letter, a strong majority of the House’s GOP caucus of 211. Ten Republicans moved to betray President Trump on the sham impeachment, which is only slated to proceed in the Senate now that Trump has left office. The Senate lacks the jurisdiction to convict a private citizen, although Democrat Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer hopes to bar the 45th President from running for federal office again…
Cheney has since been officially censured by the Carbon County, Wyoming Republican Party, with the latter expressing their strong disapproval in Cheney’s betrayal of President Trump…
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy has declined to move against Cheney, opting to keep her in a position of leadership even after betraying the President and her party. Establishment neocons such as Cheney are hoping to move the Republican Party back to a globalist vision of ‘invade the world, invite the world,’ attempting to sweep President Donald Trump’s governing vision of “America First” under the rug.
Cheney Republicanism no longer represents a way forward in the Republican Party.”
Even House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has apparently soured on Cheney and her lack of decency in recent days.
“I have heard from members concerned about her ability to carry out the job as conference chair, to carry out the message,” McCarthy said during a recent appearance on “Fox & Friends.” “We all need to be working as one, if we’re able to win the majority.”
Cheney’s days are numbered, and her family’s legacy will be permanently disgraced when she leaves office. It is a fitting end for a brood who sent thousands of troops to die in Iraq for a lie.
