Report: Illegal Aliens Cost Average American Taxpayer $1,200 in 2023

According to figures from the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), in 2023 millions of illegal aliens living in the United States cost the average  American taxpayer roughly $1,200. As a total, taxpayers were on the hook for $150 billion in 2023 for the costs of illegal immigration.

“Every day, hundreds of millions of dollars in American taxpayer money are spent on costs directly associated with illegal immigration,” the FAIR report highlighted. “Only a small fraction of these costs is ever recouped from taxes paid by illegal aliens, with the rest falling on the shoulders of American citizens and legal immigrants.”

In essence, the FAIR report suggests that each taxpayer was on the hook for $1,200 to pay for the nation’s over 15 million illegal aliens and their US-born children, colloquially known as “anchor babies.”

“At the federal, state, and local levels, taxpayers shell out approximately $182 billion to cover the costs incurred from the presence of more than 15.5 million illegal aliens, and about 5.4 million citizen children of illegal aliens,” the FAIR report highlighted. “That amounts to a cost burden of approximately $8,776 per illegal alien/citizen child.”

There is no free lunch when it comes to mass migration. It comes with massive costs both in financial and human terms.

With the US already in massive debt and with so much social instability, bringing in another massive horde of illegal aliens is just asking for further instability to kick off.

Halting immigration through the enactment of an immigration moratorium is of the essence in this fight to preserve the Historic American Nation,
