Republican Governors Stand In Solidarity With Texas State Government Over Border Crisis
A growing number of Republican governors announced their solidarity with Texas Governor Greg Abbott in the Lone Star State’s confrontation with the Biden regime over the federal government’s decision to seize the border park in Eagle Pass.
United States House Speaker Mike Johnson also manifested his support.
Some of the Republican governors who expressed their support for Abbott’s fight against the Biden regime’s open border policies include Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, Montana Governor Greg Gianforte, Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, Virginia Governor Glen Youngkin, and West Virginia Governor Jim Justice.
Additionally, governors from Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, and Wyoming also joined in supporting the Texas government.
Over the last few years, the Texas state government has taken proactive steps to secure its southern border with Mexico after it became clear that the Biden regime was going to leave the border wide open.
After the US Supreme Court ruled that Border Patrol agents can proceed to cut the razor-wire border barriers that separate the US from Mexico along the Rio Grande, Abbott stressed his commitment to bolster the southern border with Mexico in the Eagle Pass area.
Such moves are solid initial steps for bringing back some semblance of sanity to immigration policy in the US.
When the federal government becomes derelict on certain tasks such as immigration, there needs to be pressure from below to maintain stability. Allowing the present order to continue in effect will lead to the eventual civilizational destruction of the US.
Hardline immigration restriction measures must be on deck to prevent a massive socio-economic collapse.
