Republican Presidential Candidates are Growing More Hostile to the FBI
In light of the release of special counsel John Durham’s report, Republican candidates have started sounding off against the FBI and its biased investigation of the Trump campaign prior to the 2016 presidential election. Several of these candidates have expressed their gratitude for the Durham report’s revelations, which they believe strongly make the case for abolishing the FBI.
Durham spent almost three years investigating the origins of the FBI’s investigation of the 2016 Trump campaign. Ramaswamy responded to the Durham report and told The Epoch Times, “Enough is enough. Root out the corruption & shut down the FBI.”

Another Republican candidate Perry Johnson said to The Epoch Times that although this report exonerated his political rival, he appreciates that the truth has gone out on this issue.
“Although I am running for President as a Republican alternative to Donald Trump, I am thrilled that our former president has been rightfully exonerated by report findings,” Johnson stated. “We must unite against corruption and celebrate when truth prevails.”

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis sounded off on the Durham report’s findings:
The Durham Report confirmed what we already knew: weaponized federal agencies manufactured a false conspiracy theory about Trump-Russia collusion. It reminds us of the need to clean house at these agencies, as they’ve never been held accountable for this egregious abuse of power.
Indeed, the FBI should merit criticism. However, the Republican Party must be viewed with skepticism on this matter. It has a habit of repeatedly disappointing when it comes to implementing the reforms that actually matter.
It’s now up to the grassroots to hold the line and put pressure on their elected officials to ensure that they follow through with t
