Republican Presidential Candidates are Growing More Hostile to the FBI

In light of the release of special counsel John Durham’s report, Republican candidates have started sounding off against the FBI and its biased investigation of the Trump campaign prior to the 2016 presidential election. Several of these candidates have expressed their gratitude for the Durham report’s revelations, which they believe strongly make the case for abolishing the FBI.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis sounded off on the Durham report’s findings:

The Durham Report confirmed what we already knew: weaponized federal agencies manufactured a false conspiracy theory about Trump-Russia collusion. It reminds us of the need to clean house at these agencies, as they’ve never been held accountable for this egregious abuse of power.
