RINO Barbara Comstock Claims There Would Not Be ‘Many Republicans in the Search Party’ if Trump Went Missing

Rep. Barbara Comstock (R-VA) declared her hatred of former president Donald Trump during a recent appearance on NBC’s “Meet the Press” with Chuck Todd.

Comstock is enraged that she and other GOP traitors were unable to convince enough Republican senators to sign off on a Jan. 6 commission that would have given Democrats the police state authority to investigate Trump supporters and conservatives as potential terrorists.

“I understand Republicans want to get away from Donald Trump. I mean, if Donald Trump disappeared tomorrow, I don’t think you’d have many Republicans in the search party, right? Maybe a few prosecutors, but not Republicans,” Comstock said. “So they want to get away from him, but the problem is he’s not going to go away.”

“But this is not about Democrats or Republicans. It’s about the country, and it’s about getting to the truth, and it’s about protecting the Capitol, the people who work there and also making sure this never happens again,” she added.

Her shameful comments can be seen here:

Trump is the most popular Republican politician since at least Reagan, so Comstock is speaking on behalf of the swamp class of sellout politicians, lobbyists, bureaucrats, jurists, and other corrupt elements that made sure the GOP conserved nothing except low taxes for billionaires as the country was ravaged by globalists.

Big League Politics reported on how even Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) rejected the Democrats’ Jan. 6 commission because of its overreaching ramifications:

Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has come out against the proposed Jan. 6 commission that would give Democrats police state powers to investigate Trump supporters and other Republicans as domestic terrorists.

McConnell is coming out against the measure after 35 Republicans betrayed their party, their nation and their sacred honor to sign onto the measure in the U.S. House. Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) has indicated that he intends to support the commission.

“I do not believe the additional extraneous commission that Democratic leaders want would uncover crucial new facts or promote healing,” McConnell said on the Senate floor Thursday. “Frankly, I do not believe it is even designed to do that.”

Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC), another Trump opponent in the GOP, has also said he will not be voting to approve the commission.

“I will continue to support the real serious work of the criminal justice system and our own Senate committees and urge my colleagues to oppose this extraneous layer when the time comes for the Senate to vote,” McConnell also said on the floor…

The fact that even a craven weasel like McConnell realizes the insanity of this proposed Democrat overreach is a good sign that the measure will be killed.”

Comstock has made it clear with regards to whom she serves. She will have to live with the consequences of her decisions.
