Robert Francis O’Rourke Says Migrant Cells Are Too Cold, Like A ‘Freezing Icebox’

Democrat presidential candidate Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke bemoaned the “freezing icebox of a jail cell” that migrants are held in at detention centers after they illegally enter the United States. Due to our immigration laws, many of the migrants get benefits — including a $1,000 EBT card and insurance — to travel elsewhere in the country and many of them never return for their perfunctory court dates.
“They go from extreme heat to extreme cold,” O’Rourke said.
Axios reported on a migrant detention center that does, in fact, have air conditioning.
