Sen. Rand Paul: I Hope the Freedom Convoy ‘Truckers Do Come to America’

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) has come out firmly on the side of the Canadian freedom convoy of truckers, saying that he hopes they “do come to America”

Paul gave a full-throated endorsement to the convoy while sitting down for an interview with the Daily Signal.

“I’m all for it,” Paul said with regards to the freedom trucker convoys. “Civil disobedience is a time-honored tradition in our country, from slavery to civil rights, to you name it. Peaceful protest, clog things up, make people think about the mandates.”

“And some of this, we started,” the senator continued. “We put [COVID-19] mandates on truckers coming across the border from Canada so they put mandates on, and the truckers are annoyed. They’re riding in a cab by themselves, most of them for eight, 10-hour long hauls, and they just want to do what they want to do. It’s their own business.”

Paul also joked about the notion of a trucker convoy occupying the streets of Washington D.C.

“It’d be great, but the thing is, it wouldn’t shut the city down because the government workers haven’t come to work in two years anyway,” Paul said. “I don’t know if it’ll affect D.C. It’d be a nice change. We’d actually have some traffic.”

He added that the sustained resistance is causing a “break in the dam” against COVID-19 lockdowns and other senseless Draconian restrictions.

“Several Democratic governors are finally sort of relinquishing,” he said. “What they’re finding is, moms and dads are upset about this. They’re not just Republican. Everybody’s upset about this. They’re annoyed that their little kids have to be in a mask.”

Big League Politics has reported on Paul’s fierce opposition to the COVID-19 regime, including his heroic denigration of the American Mengele, Dr. Anthony Fauci:

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) made National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Dr. Anthony Fauci shake in fear after he informed him he would bear the “responsibility” for funding mad science experiments in Wuhan, China.

It has been previously established by Paul that Fauci funded gain-of-function research in Wuhan shortly before the COVID-19 outbreak changed civilization forever. Released emails also show that Fauci lied to the public about COVID-19’s origins in order to dupe the masses about the nature of the pandemic.

“All the evidence is pointing that it came from the lab and there will be responsibility for those who funded the lab, including yourself,” Paul said as Fauci became unhinged trying to spin his away out of accountability.

“I totally resent the lie that you are now propagating, Senator, because if you look at the viruses that were used in the experiments that were given in the annual reports that were published in the literature, it is molecularly impossible,” Fauci responded.

“Noone is saying those viruses caused it. Noone is alleging that those viruses caused the pandemic. What we are alleging is the gain-of-function research was going on in that lab, and NIH funded it. You can’t get away from it, it meets your definition, and you are obfuscating the truth,” Paul said.

“And you are implying that what we did was responsible for the deaths of individuals. I totally resent that,” Fauci said as he was given an opportunity to finish his response.

“And it could have been,” Paul interjected.

Other politicians need to join Paul in defending the freedom convoys and demanding that they come to America to end COVID tyranny for good.
