Sen. Ted Cruz Says ‘Reckless and Irresponsible’ Trump Could Not Prove Election Fraud

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is joining the RINOs to throw President Donald Trump under the bus in a pathetic attempt to save face with the GOP establishment.

After the Jan. 6 mostly-peaceful protest in and around the U.S. Capitol, Cruz was called one of the ringleaders of the violence committed by a small handful of overzealous protesters. He is groveling as a result and throwing his own constituents under the bus.

In his remarks, Cruz not only called the former president “reckless and irresponsible” but he also spit in the faces of thousands of whistleblowers who signed affidavits detailing the first-hand accounts of grotesque fraud that occurred on election day by essentially calling those individuals liars.

“President Trump’s rhetoric, I think, went way too far over the line. I think it was both reckless and irresponsible because he said repeatedly—and he said over and over again—he won by a landslide; there was massive fraud; it was all stolen everywhere,” Cruz said on an episode of his podcast last week.

“That evidence, the campaign did not prove that in any court, and to make a determination about an election it has to be based on the evidence, and so simply saying the result you want, that’s not responsible and you’ve never heard me use language like that,” Cruz added.

Cruz is not the only Republican who is throwing Trump under the bus in order to save face. Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) behaved in a similarly craven manner last week, as Big League Politics reported:

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) has been criticized for leading the GOP’s electoral college objection amidst widespread allegations of voter fraud, and he has responded by throwing former President Donald Trump under the bus.

Hawley issued a statement to oppose the impeachment of Trump following the conclusion of his presidency, which is unprecedented and unlawful, in which he threw Trump under the bus and essentially blamed him for the violence in the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.

In the aftermath of the violence, many left-wing voices accused Hawley of sedition and treason for asking for an investigation into a laundry list of irregularities that have been widely ignored by authorities.

There have even been calls by Democrats to revoke the will of the people by ejecting Hawley from office in order to punish him for drawing attention to voter fraud.

Cruz is a RINO who serves as controlled opposition to dupe America First patriots. He is not the man worthy of taking the reins from Trump, and neither is Hawley.
