Senate Approves Rand Paul’s Legislation Ending Mask Mandates on Airplanes, Public Transportation

The U.S. Senate has approved legislation proposed by Rand Paul to end mask mandates on airplanes and public transportation.
The measure was approved by a 57-40 vote and will go to the U.S. House. The pressure will be on Democrats in Congress where they will be forced to double down on their support of COVID overreach. The White House has pledged to veto the measure even if it passes the U.S. House.
“Requiring a face covering on public transportation and in transportation hubs has been a critical public health tool to prevent the spread of COVID-19,” a statement from the White House reads.
“Public transportation and transportation hubs are places where people across communities congregate, often for extended periods and in close quarters. The determination of the timeline and circumstances under which masks should be required in these settings should be guided by science, not politics. If Congress were to pass this resolution, the President would veto it,” they added.

Accompanying the recent removal of mask mandates across much of North America has been an noticeable uptick in unhinged reactionary medico-authoritarianism.
Student assemblies have revolted against the unmuzzling, do-gooder associations have “urged caution”, and countless stores have insisted they’ll keep masking in place despite emergency laws being rescinded. Apparently two years of a full-fledged, and global, propaganda campaign has permanently damaged some otherwise normal individuals.
Case and point, despite cloth masks being discouraged and almost useless (by The Science’s™️ own admission), the perpetually virtue signalling and stultified rubes of the Covid zero faithful press onward. Led by Joy Behar who insists that they intend to mask up forever.
More worrying still is that there are political leaders actively linking alleged “anti-masking” with “far-right extremism”. Socialist Leader of the Canadian NDP Jagmeet Singh is on record saying: “to brazenly not follow public health guidelines puts people at risk” and that mask refusal “is something that we’ve seen with extreme right-wing ideology.”
You know, those pesky neo-fascists that want to free people from lockdowns, masks, and vaccine mandates? It’s obviously the Nazis who want people to be free and make their own choices in life…

Democrats need to be put on the spot and forced to own their support of COVID overreach heading into this year’s midterm elections. Sen. Paul’s resolution is a great start toward those ends.
