SICK: Alleged Florida Pedophile Accused of Producing Child Pornography Had Hidden “Underground Bunker”

A Walton County, Florida man was arrested last month after deputies discovered an underground bunker at his DeFuniak Springs home they believe was used in the production of child pornography.

Deputies of the Walton County Sheriff’s Department served a search warrant at the home of 57-year old Marty Scott Bass on December 16th, after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The Florida panhandle man answered the door armed with a shotgun, dropping the weapon after SWAT personnel instructed him to.

Forensic analysis of Bass’ cell phone revealed more than 100 child sexual abuse images, some of which Bass himself had allegedly produced.

Bass is being charged with a whopping 100 counts of possession of child pornography, and 10 counts of producing child pornography.

In a disturbing development, deputies discovered a hidden underground bunker at Bass’ residence, hidden in a tool shed. The entrance to the bunker was concealed as a bench.

Images of child sexual abuse allegedly produced by Bass featured victims between the ages of 8 and 10 years old.

It’s unclear at this point if the bunker discovered in Bass’ tool shed was used in the production or storage of child pornography materials.

Bass is being held in the Walton County jail, with his bond set at $1 million.
