Suicide, Psychiatric Conditions Alarmingly Higher In Transgender People, Landmark Study Shows

While the White House and the rest of the left continue their push to mainstream transgenderism, others are following the data that outlines the ideology’s high suicide rates and psychiatric conditions.

Per a new Danish study, which was published Tuesday in the Journal of the American Medical Association, trans-identifying people in Denmark had a suicide death rate 3.5 times higher than non-transgenders.

Their suicide attempt rate was 7.7 times higher.

The rate of psychiatric conditions was much higher for the trans-identifying group also. With 43% having a psychiatric diagnosis, compared to only 7% from non-transgenders.

The study stated: “Results suggest that transgender individuals had significantly higher rates of suicide attempt, suicide mortality, suicide-unrelated mortality, and all-cause mortality compared with the nontransgender population.”

From The Daily Wire:

There were 92 suicide attempts and 12 suicide deaths among the study’s 3,759 trans-identifying people between 1980 and 2021.

The study analyzed the medical and legal gender change records of nearly seven million people in Denmark, including the nearly 3,800 transgender people, over the last four decades.

Trans-identifying people also tended to die younger overall, whether by suicide or something else, the study found.

In regards to psychiatric conditions, Dr. Morten Frisch, one of the study’s authors, stated “this is beyond doubt a huge problem that needs to be looked at.”

Sounding the alarms over this mental health epidemic is not foreign in today’s public discourse. It’s actually becoming more normalized. Especially as Americans choose to discuss truth over the propaganda being spread about transgenderism from elite institutions and the radical left.

2024 GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, for example, recently dubbed the rise of transgenderism as “a social contagion.”

WATCH:

Ramaswamy, who is “not angry with trans people,” but “frustrated with the culture that venerates a mental health illness,” called on Americans to speak truth in his Twitter video.

“That’s got to be the first step towards getting to a solution,” Ramaswamy concluded. “And that’s what I’m hoping to deliver.”

The number of transgender people aged 13 to 17 in the U.S. is almost twice what it was in 2017.

Just five years ago, the Williams Institute estimates that around 0.7% of younger teens were transgender in America – making up around 150,000 teens.

As of 2022, that number appears to sit around 300,000.

A February Gallup poll showed that 7.2% of Americans identify as LGBT.

Those promoting transgenderism – especially amongst youth – are ignoring its high suicide rates and other chilling factors.

They just don’t want to talk about it. And will rarely even entertain the conversation. Even though the facts are alarming by all means. More Americans need to pay attention to their sinister, dark trend that is spreading across the nation.
