Supreme Court Won’t Stop West Point From Using Anti-White Criteria In Admissions Process

On February 2, 2024, the United States Supreme Court ruled that the US Military Academy at the West Point may continue using anti-white criteria for the admission process, which leaves some degree of affirmative action in higher education.
Toward the end of the Supreme Court’s last term, it issued a ruling undermining affirmative action at universities across the nation, with the exception of military academies.
During the emergency decision that was issued on February 2, Supreme Court justices rejected Students for Fair Admissions’ request to immediately stop West Point using race as a criteria in its next admissions cycle. SFFA is the conservative legal organization that helped kick off the 2023 landmark Supreme Court case dealing with affirmative action.
The group is continuing to challenge the policy in a lower court.
“The record before this Court is underdeveloped, and this order should not be construed as expressing any view on the merits of the constitutional question,” the court stated in its unsigned order.
Roughly three months following the Supreme Court’s landmark ruling, the SFFA proceeded with its campaign to gut affirmative action policies at West Point, with the Naval Academy cup next.
Back at the start of January, a federal district judge issued a preliminary ruling in favor of West Point, which prompted the SFFA to launch an appeal to the 2nd US Circuit Court of Appeals.
Then on February 2, a panel of three judges on the 2nd Circuit refused to block West Point’s policies as it reviewed the SFFA’s appeal in full. The panel issued its refusal in a brief ruling without providing an explanation.
The anti-whites are looking for every way possible to ensure that affirmative remains in place in some shape or form. They don’t care about the rule of law or complying with Supreme Court decisions. In light of these developments, red state governments need to get ahead of the curve and start implementing their very own policies that stop anti-white hate and severely punish the Left.
Giving these anti-whites any space to operate is just asking for additional subversion.
