Texan Port of Entry Gets Overwhelmed by Illegal Alien Invasion

On March 12, 2023, Border Patrol agents were compelled to build temporary barricades at a port of entry on the United States’ southern border as thousands of illegal immigrants attempted to invade the country. Several hundred illegal aliens tried to stampede border patrol agents by force, per a report by Katabella Roberts of The Epoch Times.

Video footage from Fox News depicts illegal aliens rushing the border checkpoint, knocking down permanent barriers, and pushing through armed border officials who were trying to stave off the crowd as they tried to cross the bridge to the US.

Migrants of predominantly Venezuelan origin tried to forcibly break into the US at the Paso del Norte International Bridge in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, on March 12.

El Paso County Judge Ricardo Samaniego said to ABC network affiliate KVIA that this mob of immigrants was roughly made up of 2,000 illegal aliens. The judge asserted that a majority of the immigrants were Venezuelan males.

Following the Mexican National Guard being summoned to break up the crowd, roughly 100 asylum seekers remained, per the KVIA report.

According to a Fox News report, the immigrants who reached the US border encountered barbed wire fencing and were subsequently returned to Mexico.

Per figures from the El Paso migrant situational awareness dashboard, US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) had 1,210 encounters with aliens on March 12 and took 2,023 individuals into custody.

In a statement published shortly after the illegal alien rush, CBP said officers, which included members of the CBP Mobile Field Force, had taken “port hardening measures” to impede the migrants from illegally crossing the border, which included the use of physical barriers.

“A large group of individuals formed on the Mexican side of the border and approached the international boundary posing a potential threat to make a mass entry,” the statement detailed.

Similar breaches occurred on March 12 at two other crossings —the Stanton crossing and the Bridge of the Americas crossing—  according to CBP.

The CBP reported that barricades were used in both instances to halt the illegal aliens.

“CBP is working to maintain the legal and orderly flow of entry to the U.S. while protecting the safety and security of legitimate trade and travel, CBP facilities, and the CBP workforce,” CBP noted in a statement to CNN.

Such occurrences are becoming normal under the Biden regime, which has no desire to police the border. After all, it’s part of the Democratic Party’s political agenda of electing a new people. Unless nationalists take full control of the federal government, the open borders agenda will continue to be in effect.
