Texas Congressman Claims Biden Regime is Making It Easy for Illegal Aliens to Cross the Southern Border

In an interview with Texas Scorecard, Texas Congressman Michael Cloud declared that the Biden regime has transformed the US Border Patrol into a “border processing apparatus.”
“We have a secretary who is belligerent about intentionally disobeying and subverting the clear congressional intent of the law,” declared Cloud, who has long called for DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to be relieved of the burden of holding higher office. “He’s done everything he can to find any sort of loophole to pervert and distort the clear intention of the law, and to turn what was supposed to be our border security apparatus into a border processing apparatus.”
Cloud is a member of the House Appropriations Committee and he stressed that Congress needs to assert control over the federal budget to force the executive branch to behave in a more lawful manner .
“Congress can pass good policy, which would be helpful, Congress can investigate, but the only real enforcement mechanism we have is the purse string,” stated Cloud. “We can’t continue to send the Biden administration money to do bad things.”
Cloud detailed how the Biden regime has the same authorizations from Congress to promote border security measures that the Trump administration implemented, but has even more fiscal resources at its disposal. Cloud believes that these factors have not produced an improved state of border security due to how the Biden regime is not complying with and enforcing the law.
“If Biden wanted to secure the border, he could do it today with current authorities.”
The Biden regime is not being misguided here. It’s part of a plan to flood the country with millions of foreign migrants so as to advance the Great Replacement agenda and secure Democrats’s political hegemony for decades to come. To stop this unholy agenda, immigration restriction must be immediately implemented.
