Texas Governor Greg Abbott Blasts DHS Chief Alejandro Mayorkas

United States Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas described Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s attempts to bus illegal aliens to Democrat-run cities as a “remarkable failure” in public policy.
This compelled Abbott to respond on social media on January 3, 2024.
“We have one governor, in the state of Texas, who is refusing to cooperate with other governors and other local officials,” Mayorkas declared during an interview on MSNBC.
“And it’s a remarkable failure of governance to refuse to cooperate with one’s fellow local and state officials,” he added.
Mayorkas took his political delusion to a whole different level by blaming the large number of illegal alien crossings on climate change in that same interview.
“And migration, the challenge of displaced people, is a subject that comes up in every single conversation,” he stated. “We have the effects of climate change, poverty, increasing levels of authoritarianism. The very many challenges that are at the root cause of the displacement of people around the world.”
Right after the interview, Abbott took Mayorkas to task on social media. “Climate change?” he claimed in an X post. “Mayorkas is pathetic. The REAL reason illegal immigration records are being set is because Biden refuses to enforce immigration laws.”
Abbott stressed his administration’s commitment to guaranteeing Texas border security. “We will send more buses and planes. We will continue building the razor wire walls that Biden wants to tear down.”
Mayorkas’ attacks are directed against Abbott’s busing of illegal aliens to Democrat-controlled “sanctuary” cities nationwide as the Biden regime’s border crisis continues getting worse.
Abbott angrily responded again on X to m the Biden regime and Mayorkas. “Mayorkas blames climate change for illegal immigration, not Joe Biden’s open border policies,” he stated.
“Biden is now suing Texas AGAIN for stepping up to stop illegal immigration,” Abbott added. “Time for the Biden Administration to stop the lawsuits and start to enforce federal immigration laws.”
Mayorkas is indeed a pathetic individual and treasonous to boot. In a more reasonable polity, Mayorkas should not only be relieved of the burden of holding public office but also be thrown in jail for his treasonous behavior.
Awful political behavior has to be punished in the severest of terms.
